HOW DOES CHINESE MEDICINE & ACUPUNCTURE HELP WITH HERPES SIMPLEX?
Chinese medicine & Acupuncture work to strengthen the immune system to prevent future outbreaks.

If outbreaks do occur, usually over time the severity and duration will decrease.

However, in some cases there will be constant outbreaks which will cause continuing discomfort.

Chinese herbs contains many anti-viral/bacterial, & anti-inflammatory agents which are effective in combating the virus.

In Chinese medicine we look to regulate the Liver, Gallbladder, Lung, and Stomach that are often associated with this common infection.

These organs are highly effective at strengthening the immune system which in turn will help with the frequent and painful eruptions of Herpes Simplex.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Treating Skin dysfunction takes time as the skin goes through different repair phases. Depending on severity it will take 8-15 treatments.

We expect to see symptom reduction within the first month and continued improvement over the course of treatments.

One course of treatment is 10 visits focusing on the acute and corrective phase. As you progress through treatments you should feel improvements where we put you on observational care.
